Operation Samahan

“Samahan” is a Filipino word that means working together. More than thirty years after being founded in 1973, what started as a community project initiated by Filipino community volunteers turned into a multi-service family health and multi-service center serving low-income families and individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds—Latinos, Filipino, Laotians, Asian and Pacific Islanders, African-American, Caucasians and refugees from the Middle East and other countries.
Here is a photo of a wine colored Dickies Scrub top that I was honored to help Operation Samahan with producing. We produced green and wine colored scrub tops, pants and lab coats showcasing embroidery of their colorful and inspiring logo.
