Sales

Robert JonesWhether he’s chewing up an intense bass line or changing a diaper, Rob Jones isn’t your typical corporate VP. To get to know Rob better check out his personal page! Having been in the apparel business for as long as he has, Rob has pretty much seen it all. It’s that repetition in the industry that drives him to rethink the way he approaches branding for his clients. “I don’t just want to sell you a pen, anybody can sell you a pen,” Rob says, “I want you (the client) to challenge me – let’s be creative, let’s come up with something no one has seen before”. That attitude has been the driving force not only for himself but for the entire company – Better Branding isn’t just a slogan, it’s a belief.

Jon PolaroidMaryland has produced many things; crab cakes, marginal professional sports teams, and HBO’s The Wire – but nothing more integral to Promoventure’s success than Jon Parisi. To get to know Jon better check out his personal page! Known for his direct style and meticulous professionalism, Jon has become a favorite among the bio-tech industry community here in San Diego. Dustin Polaroid

The United States Air Force seemed a little less awesome the day Senior Airman Dustin Moe completed his tour of duty. To get to know Dustin better check out his personal page! Besides being awesome, Dustin is an incredibly motivated individual – so much so, his motivation and energy motivates everyone around him. Always the entertainer, it seemed only natural that he gravitated to providing the entertainment industry with solutions for television and feature film marketing. Dustin’s true motivation to what he does at Promoventures isn’t sales oriented, he says “…relationships, that’s way more important, if you have a solid relationship with someone everything else will come”.

Operations

Denisse Poloroid
If there were ever a case study of someone working their way up in a company, despite an all fast food diet, Denisse Uribe could say she’s living proof. Her first job was in the production department, learning all there was to learn. Once she became successful in production, Denisse felt it was time to move on to the next challenge. Wanting to continue to grow within the company she interviewed for a position in the operations department. Again, being a quick study landed her a position in finance, where she would then excel and become the head of the Promoventures’ finance department.

Jina Poloroid

The bright lights of New York couldn’t keep Jina Lee from the sun and sand of our beloved San Diego. Jina’s professional attitude and her amazing ability to “hit the ground running” in the operations department has made her a fabulous addition to the ops team. Everyone agrees, if there’s a job that needs to get done or a detail that needs to be uncovered, Jina will find a way to get it done.

Greg Image

The only thing better than the Boston Celtics winning a championship is the Boston Red Sox winning a championship, or at least that’s how production artist Greg Thomas sees it. Greg’s easy going attitude and determination to, as he puts it, “make a wicked awesome product” is what makes him such a valuable member of the art team. Greg approaches every job as if it were his, it’s that attitude that creates a culture of ownership that has been adopted by the entire team. That ownership directly translates to not only a stronger team but a better end product, which is wicked awesome!
